Travel with me to Paris & Chamonix!

When: 
July 6-20 (*dates subject to change)

Who:
Open to 9 total first and second year level students 18 and older.
Mobility is required due to the active nature of the trip.

What:
This is a 100% immersion experience allowing students to practice their French 24/7 with their teacher while experiencing daily life in Paris and the French Alps!

Activities in Paris will include conversational practice with French locals (& friends of mine), preparing French meals and excursions to monuments, museums, restaurants/cafes, nightlife, parks, stores in Paris as well as to Versailles for a special Bastille Day celebration and to Normandy for a visit to the D Day beaches.

 

Activities in the Alps will include hikes, a train/cable car ride and visit to the Mer de Glace glacier, a cable car to the pinnacle of the highest mountain in the French Alps, Mont Blanc, paintball, karaoke & more!

Where:

We will stay together as a group in Paris as well as the French Alps
(Approx. 1 week each).

Lodging, breakfast, dinner and excursions

Your teacher:
Your teacher will be me, Stephanie Whitney (formerly DeForest).  I’ve been teaching French for 26 years now and have taken students to France over the years. I love sharing my passion for the French language and culture and can’t wait to go back!
 

How:

I will accept up to 9 students on a first come, first serve basis.
The booking deadline with payment in full is April 1, 2026 but the sooner the better to ensure you get a spot.

A mandatory informational meeting covering travel details, itinerary, activities and excursions as well as packing info will be held in April. (date TBD). Students needing to apply for a passport will want to allow at least 3 months advance for application purposes and delivery (go to https://travel.state.gov/ for more info).
